What this does — and doesn't — change

• It does not influence our directory listings, our realism scores, our pros and cons, or anything we write. A machine does not get a kinder review for having an affiliate programme, and we cover plenty of products that have none.

How we label it

Where a link is commercial, we aim to make that clear in context. Our judgement about whether a machine is worth your attention is made before, and independently of, any commercial relationship.
