Echo Humanoids official launchVideo: Realbotix

Echo is Realbotix's new companion line, priced well below the six-figure Aria and Melody. Launched on October 26, 2026, it comes in two sizes. The Echo Tabletop is a desktop bust about 32 inches tall, with 17 degrees of freedom and silicone skin on the face and neck, for $11,950. The Echo Full Body stands 72 inches (female) or 77 inches (male) on a base, has 39 degrees of freedom and articulated fingers, carries silicone on the face, neck, forearms and hands, and costs $59,950. A $199 deposit reserves a place in the first production run of 225 Tabletop and 25 Full Body units. Realbotix estimates deliveries for the second half of 2027, inside the US only, and says the dates aren't guaranteed.

What you're reserving

Every Echo wears one of four characters, Aria, Mila, Dave or Amar, each with its own face, voice and personality. Realbotix's release calls Aria "the established Aria character", the persona behind its flagship Aria. The company says Echo speaks more than 100 languages, answers in whichever one you use, and integrates with ChatGPT, Claude and Gemini. It also says conversation histories, memories and face data stay on the robot or a paired device rather than on its servers, though cloud AI features send content to the relevant providers.

The sticker price isn't the whole bill. Echo needs a monthly AI plan to run. Base costs $19.99 for 10 hours of conversation a month, Plus is $39.99 for 40 hours, and the two Enterprise tiers cost $199; when the hours run out, Echo is limited to basic functions. On-robot speech and AI come only with the top Enterprise with Vision plan, which is also required for Vinci, Realbotix's face-recognition and gaze-tracking system and a $24,950 add-on. A Full Body with Vinci comes to $84,900 before the subscription. After the deposit, half the price is invoiced before your robot is built and is due within 30 days. The balance plus shipping comes before delivery. Deposits are non-refundable unless Realbotix can't deliver, in which case it refunds the deposit and all payments.

Who you're buying from

Echo is sold only through Realbotix's own site, and the business behind it is in the middle of a sale. In February 2026 Realbotix Corp agreed to sell Realbotix LLC, its Nevada robotics subsidiary, to Nasdaq-listed Onconetix in an all-stock deal. The first target was a close before the end of Q3 2026. That moved to before October 31, then to the fourth quarter. On October 27 Onconetix said it still "intends to file" the S-4 registration statement for the deal, and closing needs its shareholders' approval. On the announced terms, Realbotix Corp would end up with 75% to 90% of the combined company and appoint four of its five directors, so control would sit with Realbotix rather than with Onconetix's current holders.

For a buyer, that means the company taking your deposit may have a new parent and a new listing by the time the 50% build invoice arrives. The Echo site's pricing and FAQ pages don't mention the transaction, and the refund promise covers non-delivery only. Read the Terms of Service that govern reservations before paying more than the $199 deposit.

Why it scores 46

Echo inherits Realbotix's silicone craft and the Aria character, but we found no hands-on reporting from outside the company, and the Echo site warns that some of its product images and videos are AI-generated renderings. Realbotix hasn't published a facial motor count. The Tabletop's 17 degrees of freedom cover the whole robot, where Aria uses 17 motors in the face alone, so face (72) sits below Melody (80) and the UBTech U1 (76). Body (58) credits the Full Body's human proportions and silicone hands, but the skin stops at the face, neck and forearms, and the Tabletop is a bust. Motion (12) matches Melody: neither trim walks, and the Full Body moves only from the waist up. Voice (52) and mind (45) sit just under Melody's because the cheaper plans cap conversation time and keep on-robot processing for the top tier. Reality (20) reflects a real price and a real order page from a maker that has shipped robots before, against deliveries no earlier than the second half of 2027, a 250-unit first run and an unresolved sale. If owners receive units in 2027 that match the launch reel, reality is the score that moves.

Our verdict

The case for

  • Realbotix's silicone faces at five figures: $11,950 for the Tabletop, against six figures for Aria and Melody
  • Stated privacy terms keep memories and face data on the robot or a paired device, not Realbotix's servers
  • Brings outside AI, with ChatGPT, Claude and Gemini integration claimed and your own models on the Enterprise plan

The case against

  • Not shipping: deliveries are estimated for the second half of 2027, US only, and not guaranteed
  • Neither trim walks, and silicone covers only the face, neck, forearms and hands of the Full Body
  • Running costs stack up: the $19.99 plan caps conversation at 10 hours a month, and Vinci adds $24,950 plus a $199/mo plan
  • The Realbotix unit selling it is mid-sale to Onconetix, and the deal has missed its first closing target

What it can do

  • Conversation in 100+ languages, answering in the language it's addressed in
  • Memory of past conversations; a digital twin of your character on phone or laptop is promised for 2027
  • Optional Vinci vision for face recognition, gaze tracking and emotional-cue reading, processed on the robot
